La revista Escandinava Independiente de Arquitectura y Urbanismo, CONDITIONS, convoca a sus lectores a escribir un artículo para su próximo número. El artículo debe hacer una reflexión sobre cómo se esta redefiniendo la arquitectura. Se pretende hacer una recopilación de artículos que enfoquen el tema desde diferentes ángulos, también podrán presentarse artículos más visuales de proyectos/oficinas que han cambiado la labor del arquitecto a través de nuevos conocimientos.

Call for submissions, Conditions issue #9: New Knowledge –New Practices?
In pre-modern epochs, renewal of practice was always initiated by looking backwards, as a return to the fundamentals. The cult of the new/young first came with modernity. Are young offices still obsessed with the ideas of idols, former employers and teachers? Or are young practices in architecture today considered to be especially innovative? Are they generating new knowledge or just recycling winning formulas? If truly innovative new practices still exist, from what fields of knowledge do they get their input?
In the next issue of CONDITIONS we intend to find out who is really redefining practice in architecture – a shift in focus from our previous concern with architecture politics and education towards the realm of the pragmatic. We are looking for engaging articles covering the theme from different angles, as well as more visual presentations of offices/projects that are changing practice through new knowledge.
