El jurado de la edición 2016 de los premios de Espacio Publico ha seleccionado a los 25 finalistas de este premio bianual.
Este año se presentaron al premio 276 candidaturas de 33 países. el jurado presidido por Enric Batlle en representación del CCCB, estuvo formado por Matevz Celik, Director del the Museum of Architecture and Design of Ljubljana, Hans Ibelings el crítico e historiador holandés, Juulia Kauste, Directora del Museum of Finnish Architecture en Helsinki, Ewa P. Porebska, arquitecta y critico de Varsovia, Francis Rambert, Director del Istituto français d’architecture en Paris, Peter Schmalz, Director del Deutsches Architekturmuseum en Frankfurt, Dietmar Steiner, Director del Architekturzentrum de Viena, y Ellis Woodman, Director de la Architecture Foundation en Londres.
